This James Dobson quote is from a Reuters Article:
You know, I had a rant written - but I don't feel like posting it. It's Ash Wednesday and I'm pretty much musing on my own sin at the moment. What I will point out is that someone who has spent the last decade or so trying to get Christians politically active has just threatened not to vote if he doesn't get his way. People wonder why I have absolutely no desire to call myself and Evangelical any more?

Indeed! Indeed it is! (rubbing hands together feverishly)
It would be one thing to say, as the Mennonites tend to do, "We are servants of the Kingdom of Heaven and therefore won't enable the power-brokers of this current age." It's another to say, "Wahhh wahhh, I don't want to play anymore" while claiming the mantle of Christ.
But yes, he needs some serious theological pimp-slapping.
